Function keys

On a Casio calculator are six function keys that correspond to items in the menu bar along the bottum of the display screen

F1     F2     F3     F4     F5     F6

 


Example 1

To calculate | 2 − 7 | × 2 = 10

MATH Abs

when the current system is specified by SET UP Input/Output Math.

 


Example 2

To convert an angle of 60° degrees to  π radians

To calculate the factorial of 4! = 24

To display the items that correspond to the orange descriptions over the function keys

TRCE  Trace
Lets you move a pointer along a graph and read out coordinates on the display.

ZOOM  Zoom
Lets you enlarge and reduce the graph on the screen.

V·WIN  View window
Lets you change the x- and y-axis, and the spacing between the increments.

SKTCH  Sketch
Lets you sketch and plot a graph.

G·SLV  Graphic solve
Lets you analyze graphs, like intersection points and minimum or maximum values.

GT  Graphic to table
Lets you switch between graphic and table view.
